WELCOME TO MOUNTAIN VIEW FISHING & HUNTING LODGE

We are surrounded by over a thousand acres of Crown Land and the avid hunter will find not only plenty of small game, such as partridge, grouse and duck, but also the bigger game of bear and moose.  We offer guided Black Bear hunting packages with sites on both crown land and private property, some sites via motor vehicle and others by boat only.

For the "Photographer Hunter", the wildlife throughout the area also includes red fox, raccoon, beaver, otter, rabbits, many different species of birds and much more!

OUR 2008 BEAR HUNTING SEASON BEGINS AUG. 18th & ENDS OCT 15th

**Hunting on private and government property **Archery &/or Rifle **

The Hunt is from Saturday to Saturday

PACKAGE A:

  • $950.00 US per HUNTER for FULL 6-DAY HUNT with:

  • 7 NIGHTS ACCOMMODATION in Heated Housekeeping Cottage
    (size as per number in group)

  • Dinner and Orientation at the Lodge with your Guide on night of your arrival

  • Pre-baited & prepped active sites
    (Please bring your own tree stand &/or ground blind)

  • Transportation to site
    (combination of our & your vehicles)

  • Assistance with track & recovery, quartering & freezing
    (Skinning / butchering additional fee)

PACKAGE B:

  • $1200.00 US per HUNTER for FULL 6-DAY HUNT with:

  • ALL OF THE ABOVE (PACKAGE "A") .... PLUS

  • ALL YOU CAN EAT HOME COOKED MEALS AT THE LODGE

PACKAGE "C"

  • Non-hunting "Pal" (sharing your Accommodations)

  • $25.00 US per person per day / WITH MEALS ADDITIONAL $35.00 US per person per day

  • (Meal plan only available if your group has selected that option)

NOTE: 

  • Boats/motors available by the day at the daily rate.

  • All Hunting fees are not refundable.

  • Rates based on minimum of 2 hunters per group & DO NOT INCLUDE applicable taxes, Licenses or Permits

LICENSES FOR NON-RESIDENT HUNTERS & FISHERMEN

  • To obtain a non-resident hunting license hunters MUST show proof of previous hunting experience.
  • Hunting (and Fishing) licenses are sold nearby in Hagar at the General Store.  About 15 minute drive.
  • All Guns & Bow/Arrows should be registered with Canadian Customs before entering into Canada
  • Handguns are NOT permitted in Canada

Bear - $180.00, Export Permit - $35.00, Small Game - $90.00

FISHING FEES (Canadian Funds - 2007):

Seven (7) Day Reg. - $41.00, Seven (7) Day Cons. - $24.00
